These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer (“You” or “Customer”) and The Laldie (“We”, “Us”, or “The Laldie”). By placing an order, You acknowledge that You have read, understood, and irrevocably agreed to all terms herein.

1. NATURE OF GOODS — CUSTOM PRODUCTION

1.1 All products sold by The Laldie are custom-made, individually produced, and tailored specifically to each customer’s request.

1.2 As custom goods, products are not eligible for cancellation, return, or refund under any circumstance.

1.3 The Customer acknowledges that custom-made items are exempt from standard consumer cancellation rights.

2. DESIGN AUTHORITY & ACCEPTANCE OF VARIATIONS

2.1 The Laldie design team retains exclusive and final authority over all design-related decisions, including, but not limited to: colors, fonts, borders, layout, illustration style, and overall artistic interpretation.

2.2 By placing an order, the Customer grants The Laldie full discretion in executing the final design.

2.3 Due to the handcrafted nature of production and the technical limitations of digital-to-physical color conversion, minor variations may occur, including:

  • slight border misalignments,
  • minor shifts in spacing or alignment,
  • color tone variations between digital screens and printed materials,
  • paper absorption differences,
  • minimal print texture inconsistencies.

2.4 Such variations are normal, expected, and do not constitute defects.

2.5 These variations do not entitle the Customer to refunds, reprints, replacements, or compensation.

3. STRICT NO CANCELLATION / NO REFUND POLICY

3.1 All sales are final.
3.2 No cancellations, no refunds, no partial refunds, and no order alterations will be accepted for any reason once the order is submitted.

3.3 This applies regardless of:

  • changes of mind,
  • event postponements or cancellations,
  • dissatisfaction with delivery times,
  • financial circumstances,
  • errors made by the Customer during submission,
  • courier delays,
  • customs delays,
  • any external or unforeseen circumstances.

3.4 By completing checkout, the Customer waives any right to request cancellation or refund.

4. SHIPPING, COURIER RESPONSIBILITY & DELIVERY LIMITATION

4.1 Once a parcel is transferred to the courier, The Laldie bears no liability for:

  • delays,
  • transit issues,
  • failed delivery attempts,
  • lost or misrouted parcels,
  • customs inspection delays,
  • weather disruptions,
  • operational backlogs,
  • peak season congestion.

4.2 All delivery windows are strictly estimates, not guarantees.

4.3 Courier delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.

4.4 Late Delivery Remedy:

In the event of courier delays, the Customer may be offered a store credit equivalent to the order total. This remedy:

  • is discretionary,
  • is not a monetary refund,
  • is valid for 12 months,
  • is non-transferable,
  • may only be used toward future purchases.

4.5 Store credit issuance fully resolves any issues relating to late delivery. No further claim may be made.

5. CUSTOMS, TAXES & IMPORT DUTIES

5.1 For international shipments, the Customer is solely responsible for all customs-related fees, including:

  • import taxes,
  • duty charges,
  • brokerage fees,
  • handling fees,
  • customs release charges.

5.2 These fees are imposed by governmental authorities and are outside the control of The Laldie.

5.3 The Laldie cannot estimate, calculate, or reimburse any customs charges.

5.4 Failure to pay import taxes may result in the parcel being returned, destroyed, or held indefinitely by customs. The Laldie bears no responsibility for such outcomes.

6. ADDRESS ACCURACY & DELIVERY FAILURE

6.1 The Customer is fully responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.

6.2 Any request to change the delivery address must be made within 24 hours of order placement. After this period, changes cannot be guaranteed.

6.3 Delivery failures caused by:

  • incorrect address,
  • incomplete address,
  • Customer’s absence,
  • refusal of delivery

    are the Customer’s sole responsibility.

6.4 Re-delivery fees, return fees, and additional shipping charges must be covered by the Customer.

7. COLOUR DISCLAIMER & DIGITAL MOCKUP LIMITATION

7.1 Digital mockups serve as visual representations, not exact replicas.

7.2 Due to screen calibration differences, lighting, printing machinery, and material composition, color variations are expected.

7.3 The Laldie shall not be held liable for variations between digital previews and physical prints.

8. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

8.1 By placing an order, the Customer confirms the following:

  • They have read the Terms in full.
  • They understand and accept all conditions.
  • They waive any claim contradicting these Terms.
  • They acknowledge the legally binding nature of this document.
  • They release The Laldie from any liability beyond what is explicitly stated herein.

8.2 These Terms override any previous statements, verbal or written.
